Timothy Clark Dryden, age 62, of Columbia City, Oregon, passed away at 6:40 PM – Friday, September 29, 2023, at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services celebrating Tim’s life will be held at 11:00 AM – Saturday, October7, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Newton, Illinois, with Pastor Rick Britton officiating. The burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery in rural Newton, Illinois. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM -11:00 AM immediately prior to the service.  In the loving memory of Tim, memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse Ministry. Tim was born on July 23, 1961, in Martinsville, Indiana, the son of John D. Dryden Sr. and Betty Lee (Clark) Dryden. He grew up in Newton, Illinois. In 1998 Tim met the love of his life, Michelle Fountain (Dryden) in Aloha, Oregon and they were married on January 14, 2000, in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The couple were happily married for 23 years. Tim worked in the construction industry most of his adult life and owned Dynamic Changes (construction company) until the time of his final illness. He was a member of the Warren Community Fellowship Church in Warren, Oregon. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved adventure of any kind. He was blessed to have travelled to many exotic locales to pursue this passion including Costa Rica, Jamaica, Belize and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, The Dominican Republic, South Africa, and various locations in the Pacific Northwest to name a few. He usually hunted and fished with his best friends and hunting partners, his wife Michelle, brothers Dan and Mark, Pat Bair, Allen Tatamoto, Andy Palioca, Steve Mood and Bob Posture. Tim was a devoted husband and a kind and giving friend. He loved the Lord, and his faith was demonstrated by his life in every way.

Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years – Michelle Dryden of Columbia City, Oregon, Father, John D. Dryden Sr, of Newton, Illinois Brothers -John Dryden Jr. of Toledo, Illinois; Daniel T. Dryden of St. Helens, Oregon; Brother Mark A. Dryden of Koshkonong, Missouri Sisters - Nancy E. Dryden of Newton, Illinois, and Mary A. Hanley of Morton, Illinois.

Tim has gone home to be with the Lord where he joins his adored mother, Betty Lee Dryden, and younger brother David Joshua Dryden.
