Cecilia ‘Sis’ Harder, 80, of Leesburg, Florida, died on August 28, 2023 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, FL.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28 at St. Clare Catholic Cemetery, Altamont. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cecilia Ruth ‘Sis’ Harder was born on Sunday, January 31, 1943 in Springfield, IL to Anthony and Ruth (Wehrman) Reichart. She married David Harder on August 7, 1981. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont, FL. She was a high school math teacher for 22 years before moving to Iowa where she worked as a programmer for a grocery store chain.

She is survived by her husband of over 42 years, David Harder of Leesburg, FL.; son, Nathan Harder of Okawville, IL; daughter, Jill Pepper of Burlington, IA; sister, Mary Coleman of Wheaton, IL; 2 granddaughters, Lindsay Pepper and Casey Pepper.

She was preceded in death by: her parents and 2 brothers, Tony and Bob Reichart.
