Charlene A. Myers, 60, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Charlene was born on June 30, 1963, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of David and Linda (Reynolds) Plummer.
Over the years, Charlene worked at the Illinois Glove Company, Southeastern Container, and as a CNA at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for 8 years. She enjoyed helping others and was someone you could count on. Charlene was a driven individual when she set her mind to something. She also had a love for antiques. In the recent years, Charlene enjoyed tinkering, whether it be by doing puzzles, painting, or necklace making.
Charlene is survived by her son, Ryan Myers; father, David Plummer; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Stewart; and brother, David Lee Plummer.
