It was Barbara’s wishes for cremation and no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barb’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association. She was born April 24, 1943 in New Jersey, the daughter of Stanley and Halina (Kostrowski) Wojciechowski. Barbara married Lawrence D. Ames August 4, 1973 and they shared 49 years of marriage. Barb worked in home healthcare for many years and was a homemaker. She loved to sew and do embroidery work.
Barbara is survived by daughter, Audra (Michael) Osborn of West Liberty; three grandchildren, Brendan Apke of Effingham, Trevor Apke of Bible Grove and Tearia Goldstein of Effingham; two great-grandchildren, Ariella Goldstein and Theodore Goldstein; two brothers, Thomas Wojciechowski of New Jersey and Stan Wojciechowski of North Carolina; sister, Mary Pelle of New Jersey and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Artin of Michigan.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
