Carl R. Johnson (59) of Louisville

Carl R. Johnson, 59, of Louisville passed away peacefully at 9:35 pm Wednesday August 9, 2023, at Flora Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in Flora, Illinois.

Carl was born on August 30, 1963, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of the late Roger C. and Mary C. (Hamilton) Johnson. He married Lori Barham and they shared 35 years together. Carl liked to have a good time and was an avid fisherman. He was so fun to be around, never a dull moment when you were with him.

Carl is survived by his spouse: Lori Barham of Louisville, Illinois; stepson: Dennis (Toya) Barham of Louisville; grandchild: Draven Barham of Louisville; brothers: Don (Sharon) Johnson of Nebraska, Johnny Johnson of Joliet, Rodger Johnson of Joliet; sisters: Nancy Johnson of Joliet, Suzy Shetina of Joliet, and Eileen Johnson of Joliet. Carl is also survived by parents in law: James and Shirley Barham of Louisville; brother-in-law: Danny (Vicy) Barham of Joliet; sisters in law; Kelly (Bobby) Isberg of Dieterich, and Shannon Graham of Bible Grove, along with several nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike R. Johnson.

Per Carl’s wishes for cremation with no services at this time, private burial with be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Joliet, Illinois at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carl’s memory to the family to help with expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
