David Boyd Sarver, a man known for his unwavering dedication, kindness, and love for his family, passed away peacefully at the age of 62 on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas.

Born on June 23, 1961, in Shelbyville, Illinois, David was the son of the late Harold and Ethel Sarver and stepson of Charles Howell. From a young age, David was a hardworking individual who demonstrated a deep passion for aviation. This passion led him to a successful career spanning over three decades as an Aircraft Technician at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), where his expertise and commitment were highly respected.

Upon retiring from ADM, David continued his professional journey at NetJets Aviation Inc., where he served as a Return to Service Specialist until his passing. His dedication to his work was evident in the meticulousness with which he performed his duties.

Despite his professional commitments, David always prioritized his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Ella, and a caring father to his sons, Nathan and Joshua. His love for his family was boundless, and his dedication to their happiness was unwavering. David's commitment to his family was a testament to his character and a quality that will be remembered by all who knew him.

David is also survived by his sister, Vicki (Ed) Connolly, and his nieces, Kari Connolly and Rana (Andy) Hoffman. His nieces remember him as a warm-hearted uncle who always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. His sister, Vicki, fondly remembers their childhood memories and the bond they shared, which remained strong until his last moments.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden with Pastor Paul Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, in Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden. Burial will take place in Antioch Cemetery in rural Herrick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden is assisting the family.
