James Michael Fletcher, of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 8:00 AM Sunday July 2, 2023 in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center of Mattoon, Illinois.
He was born August 14, 1972 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Mike and Viola (Potter) Fletcher. James married Angela Smith August 28, 1999 in Neoga, Illinois. Mr. Fletcher was a John Deere Ag Tech for Alliance Tractor of Mattoon, Illinois. James was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church in Neoga, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Fletcher of Neoga, Illinois; children, Trevor Fletcher and Lexie Fletcher both of Neoga, Illinois; parents, Mike Fletcher (Judy) of Toledo, Illinois and Viola Fletcher of Neoga, Illinois; brothers, Quentin Fletcher (Candy) of Mattoon, Illinois, Ben Fletcher of Casey, Illinois and Nathan Fletcher (Kelsey Barger) of Mattoon, Illinois; half sisters, Leona Scott (Bill) of Toledo, Illinois and Michelle Galbreath of Oakland, Illinois; grandmother, Irene Potter of Neoga, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents in law, William and Nancy Smith; grandparents, Eugene Potter, Reverend James and Betty Fletcher.
Memorials are suggested to the Family C/O Angela Fletcher 3501 County Highway 33 Neoga, IL 62447.
Cremation Rites will be accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Friday July 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Christ Fellowship Church in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday July 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM until service time also at the church. Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery of Charleston, Illinois.
