Lawrence Edward “Larry" "L.B.” Bryan, age 69, of Olney,Illinois, and formerly of Ingraham, passed away at his home.

He was born April 1, 1954, in Olney, the son of Jack Weber and Lavera Marie (Rauch) Bryan. He was united in marriage to Bertha Williams on April 12, 1984, in Salem and they were married for 18 years and together they had 3 children.

Larry was a 1972 graduate of Clay City High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1978. He worked as a pump specialist for 35 years for several area companies and took pride in his heritage, upbringing, and religion. Larry was an outstanding hard working family man, always willing to lend a hand to help others. He enjoyed fishing, catching turtles, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his 3 children: Melinda (Michael) Austin of Altamont, Isaiah Bryan (Kassie Dulaney) of Flora, and April Bryan (Ryan Eade) of Flora; 9 grandchildren: Chase Austin, Peyton Austin, Logan Austin, Zoe Bryan, Journey Bryan, Luna Bryan, Jett Bryan, Ledger Bryan, and Asher Eade; and siblings: Jackie (Leo) Gibbons, Gale (Ann) Bryan, Jerry (Lorena Gill) Bryan, Dianne (Richard) Yates, and Nancy (Richard) Conner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Gary Bryan and Dwight Bryan; a nephew: Eric Gibbons, and a niece: Christina Gibbons Wolf.

A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Holy Cross Church in Wendelin. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
