Marilyn M. Antrim, 89, died Thursday, June 15, 2023.
A private memorial will be held at a future date. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family. Memorials can be made and sent directly to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham or the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be left by clicking here.
Marilyn was born November 8, 1933 as the first child at the home of her parents Jesse and Mabel (Schultz) Keller.She was baptized December 3, 1933 and was confirmed March 30, 1947. Marilyn was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Shumway until April 1986 when she and her husband Don joined St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham.
Marilyn was joined in marriage to Donald R. Antrim June 14, 1953. Don died on April 28, 2001. To this union three children were born. Dennis (Carol), Daniel (Rungdara), and Danette (Phil) Schaefer. They had 11 grandchildren and one step-grandson, four great-granddaughters, four great-grandsons, and two step-granddaughters.
Marilyn’s husband, parents, and one grandchild preceded her in death.
