Dee was born July 30, 1938, in Fayette County, the daughter of Roy and Sylvia (Phillips) Miller. On August 30, 1955, Dee married the love of her life, George Lewis Ohnesorge, in Beecher City. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before George's passing January 2, 2018. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Dee sold Beeline Clothing for 18 years and was a Home Interiors Displayer for 28 years, a career she enjoyed and took great pride in. She was an active and longtime member of Beecher City Church of Christ, where she found solace and strength in her faith and the friendships she formed within the congregation.
Dee's interests included camping, raising dogs and cats, and tending to her flower garden. She was a dedicated and enthusiastic supporter of her children and grandchildren's sporting events, never missing a game. Dee's love for her family knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent with them. In her later years, Dee found great joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Dee's selflessness and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
As we bid farewell to Dee, we celebrate her life and the love she shared with all who crossed her path. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that knew no bounds.
Dee is survived by her four children, Brad Ohnesorge of Strasburg, Doug (Janet) Ohnesorge of Effingham, Julie Ohnesorge of Effingham, and Joey Ohnesorge of Glendale, AZ. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Tyler, Nicole, Dylan, Collin, Cody, and Nathan, and a great-grandmother to Reed, Miranda, Rayne, and Blaine. She is also survived by her brother Delbert Miller of Mountain View, AR.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, daughter Crystal, and brother Charles Miller.
