Together, they raised Becky’s daughter Rashelle, and later welcomed their son Tanner. Troy enjoyed farming with his son and dad, restoring tractors, and was an original founder of the County Line Sod-Busters. Troy also enjoyed fishing, gardening, baseball, side-by-side riding, mushroom hunting, cooking, and grilling. Troy was a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews with his whole heart. He found such joy in bringing his family and friends together in fellowship with his infamous fish fries, smoked meats, and deer camp breakfasts. He was very dedicated to his church and devoted much of his time to organizing Men’s Club events.
Troy is survived by his loving wife, Becky; son, Tanner (Megan) Traub and daughter, Rashelle (Spencer) Spear; grandchildren, Stratton and Sytha Spear and Harrison Traub; father, Delaine (Ruby) Traub; sisters, Danette (Bryan) Cox, Tammie (Tim) Bohnhoff, Kristy (Duane) Will, and Gwen (Cory) Niebrugge; parentsin-law, Dale and Dortha Yates; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike (Beth) Yates, Vicki (Richard) Staley, Joyce (Tracy) Harper, and Norman (Brandy) Yates.
