Ronald Eugene Workman (71) of Olney

Ronald Eugene Workman, age 71, of Olney, Illinois, passed away at 12:45 AM – Monday, May 1, 2023, at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois. 

Ronald was born on December 12, 1951, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Charles J. and Evelyn Marie (Snyder) Workman. Ronald worked at the National Vinegar Plant in Olney as a forklift driver for over 40 years. He was a member of the Olney Southern Baptist Church. Ronald loved being with his family, enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. He also loved cooking out and being with his family and playing with his companion, his little dog Molly.

Ronald is survived by: Children - Christine (James) Galyean of Olney, Illinois; David W. Workman of Florida, and Melinda J. Workman of Florida; Grandchildren - Larissa (Anthony) Ice, Marcelix (Patricia) Workman, and Aaliyah McDonald; and 2 Great-Grandchildren, while several other Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren also survive; Brother - James Workman; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Workman and Gary Workman, sisters Virginia Workman, Mary Bogard, and Brenda Gosnell.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 PM - Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Olney Southern Baptist Church, 205 East Mack Avenue, Olney, Illinois.
