Alice Moseley-MacAfee (78) of Menifee, CA

Alice Moseley-MacAfee, 78, of Menifee, California passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Marin Terrace Nursing Facility in Mill Valley, California.

Alice Thomas was born in Flora, IL, on May 8, 1944 the daughter of Kenneth and Ruby Thomas. She later moved to St. Charles, MO to raise a family with Richard Moseley (1st husband). After they raised their two children, Richard and Alice moved to Menifee, CA. After Richard passed away, Alice met and later married Ed MacAfee, hence the full name Alice Moseley-MacAfee. Ed & Alice chose to stay in Menifee, CA during their retirement years. Alice worked at Hussmann Fuse, The Sporting News, and McDonnell Douglass, which was later merged/purchased by Boeing. Alice loved traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially with her two sisters, Sabra and Bertha.

Alice Moseley's parents are Ruby Dunahee-Thomas and Kenneth Thomas (both deceased). Alice's 1st husband was Richard Moseley (deceased) and they had two children together (Steven and Vincent). Steven is deceased and Vincent lives in Belvedere, CA. Alice's 2nd husband was Edwin MacAfee (deceased). Edwin and his first wife, Paula, had four children; Dave MacAfee, John MacAfee, Paul MacAfee and Dian Leon. Alice had two sisters; Sabra and Bertha. Both are living and Sabra lives in Louisville, IL and Bertha lives in Menifee, CA.

A memorial graveside service to celebrate Alice’s life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Clay City Cemetery with Ron Payne officiating. Anyone attending the service is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. The McGriff Funeral Home in Louisville is assisting the family the arrangements.
