David E. Hatfill, 71, of Altamont, died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
As per David’s wishes there will be no services. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
David Eugene Hatfill was born on Friday, September 7, 1951 in Effingham, IL to George and Lovilla (Ladd)Hatfill. He retired from John Boos, Effingham.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by: his parents, brother, Brent Hatfill; sisters, Kathi Robertson and Lucy Hatfill; and a sister in infancy, Georgette.
