Drake Lee Armstrong, infant son of Kyle and Brett Armstrong

Angel on earth, Drake Lee Armstrong, gained his wings on January 23, 2023 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.

Drake was born at 5:13 am at HSHS St Anthony's Memorial Hospital on August 18, 2022, to Kyle and Brett Armstrong. Drake was the light of his brother, Leo’s life. Drake possessed a soul too pure for this earth. He had a smile, and laugh that brightened up every room. He had the deepest, blue eyes, and blonde hair that created a golden “halo.” At 5 months old, he had all of the stories to tell and was always happiest when he could be playing with his feet.

Drake is survived by: Parents - Kyle and Brett (St Clair) Armstrong; Brother - Leo Armstrong; Cousins - Jace and Charli St Clair, Korbin and Karson Ard, and many more cousins; Aunts and Uncles - Gunner and Katie St Clair, Kenzie Thompson, Stacy Key and Lucas Ard; plus many great aunts, and uncles; Grandparents - Ron and Angie St Clair, Keith and Correana Key, Rob and Terri Armstrong; Great grandparents Connie Welton, Pat Key, Leslie Reed, and Randy St Clair; Great great grandparents Helen Bly, Barb Morrison; and The Wade 1500 Fire Family.

He is preceded in death by: Great Grandparents, Myrna St Clair, Jim Ed and Theresa Ann Wright, Leo and Edwina Armstrong, and John Welton; Great Uncle Junior St Clair; a special great great aunt Glenna Taylor. Cousin Dylan Ta.

A memorial gathering honoring Drake’s life will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Private family interment services will be held.
