Tracy Ann Kistler (54) of Watson

Tracy Ann Kistler, 54, of Watson, IL, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Tracy was born on August 9, 1968, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Dwight and Judy (Shadwell) Smith. Family was everything to Tracy. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Tracy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her kids and grand babies so much. Her favorite title that she held with pride was “nanny”. If you knew Tracy you knew she never met a stranger. Her beautiful smile and laugh could light up an entire room. She cherished every day and made sure to always tell everyone she loved them. 

Tracy is survived by her significant other, Chuck Larson; her three children, Trey (Jess), Kylie, and Carter; forever cherished and remembered by her 4 grandchildren, Tinslee, Dax, Sophie and Mia; her mom, Judy Smith; brothers, Greg (Katrina) Smith and Jason (Megan) Smith; sister, Sheena (Derek) Everett; and 8 nephews and 2 nieces.    

She was preceded in death by her dad, Dwight Smith; and grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Shadwell and Paul and Ruth Smith.
