Stephen P Wiedman, 68 of Bullard, Texas (formerly of Effingham) , passed away peacefully Monday, January 16, 2023 at UT Health Tyler Hospital, in Tyler, TX with his wife and other family members by his side.

Stephen (Steve) was born October 31, 1954 in Effingham to Paul and Julia Ann (Poos) Wiedman. He was united in marriage to Linda Webb on January 23, 1981 in St John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham.

Steve was a graduate of Effingham High School and the University of Illinois. Upon graduation in 1976, with a major in Finance, he was employed as a Loan Officer at Crossroads Bank, then in 1978 his love of Corvettes steered him in a new direction. He was employed at Mid America Designs, now known as Mid America Motorworks for the next 33 years. He loved life to the fullest with traveling with his job and with his wife Linda, restoring Corvettes as well as collecting a few of his own, fishing, shooting and his favorite past time, hunting with his beloved dogs.

Steve is survived by his wife Linda of Bullard, Tx ; Brother-in-law Wayne (Judy)Webb of Shreveport, La; Nephew Adam (Ryan) Webb of Addison, Tx; Niece Jenna (Shawn) Warf of Woodway, Tx and grand nephew and nieces Lucien and Everly Warf and Marigny and Magnolia Webb. He is also survived by his faithful fur-kids, Rigby, Carson and Watson.

According to Steve’s wishes, he is to be cremated with no services. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
