Robert Charles Bequette, 63, of Watson, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.
Robert was born on February 5, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Robert and Doris (Spradling) Bequette. Robert was a devoted grandfather to 18 grandchildren. He was also well known for his sense of humor and love of music.
Robert is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Jason Bequette; daughter, Jessica (Justin) Strickler; stepsons, Robin (Lela) Brown and Chris (Stacy) Brown; stepdaughter, Dani (Levi) Hollinshead; 18 grandchildren; and siblings, Regina Wipf and Russell (Michelle) Bequette.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Sue Bequette; and sister, Roberta Corke.
