Terri J. Johnson (61) of Effingham

Terri J. Johnson, 61, of Effingham, died at 5:30 am, Sunday, December 25, 2022 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. A private family burial will follow at Mahon Cemetery, rural Mason. Memorials may be made to Bradley Tombers, son of Terri.

Terri Joy was born on Saturday, November 25, 1961 in Robbinsdale, MN to Waldo R. and Mary J. (Sorensen) Johnson. She was employed at Central East Alcoholism and Drug Council as a substance abuse counselor. Terri was a graduate of Bethel University, St. Paul, MN. She enjoyed crocheting, hiking, camping and anything adventurous and fun!

She is survived by her parents Waldo (Judy) Johnson and Mary (Dennis Ehlers) Zigan; sons, Drew (Anne) Klees and Bradley (Nicole) Tombers; daughters, Rachel (Ryan Rogers) Tombers and Jenna (Jamie) Griffin; brother, Randy (Jill) Johnson; grandchildren, Lyla Klees, Cullen Klees, Kate Tombers, Ella Moder, Ethan Moder, Liam Rogers, Asher Tombers, and Adalynn Griffin.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Bradley.
