Virginia Maxine Rogers, formerly of Newton, Illinois, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 100.

Visitation will be held 9:30-11:00 AM - Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Follis and Sons Funeral Home - 700 Plaza Drive, Fredericktown, Missouri. Burial will be in the Mina La Mott Cemetery. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left by clicking here

Virginia Maxine Rogers was born March 16, 1922, in Fredericktown, Missouri the daughter of Richard Benjamin and Cora Jean (King) Wilson. Maxine married Lindell Rogers on August 9, 1941, at the home Bro. S.A. (Big Boy) Hand. She was a waitress at Parklanes in Newton, Illinois, for 34 years and enjoyed serving all customers. She lived a good Christian life and loved the gospel music of all her family. Maxine enjoyed jig-saw puzzles, playing dominos, traveling and her flowers. She loved her grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren children and loved to fish with all of them through the years. She lived independently until just 2 months before her death. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Maxine is survived by children Richard (Donna) Rogers of Elizabethton, Tennessee; Carol (Morris) Dinges of Shenandoah, Iowa; Virginia (Mickey D) Dixon of Henning, Tennessee, and Mary (Mark) Burtch of Paris, Tennessee. Fourteen (14) grandchildren, Twenty-One (21) great grandchildren and fifteen (15) great grandchildren.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lindell Rogers, daughters Linda and Beverly, son Larry, and grandchildren David and Danny.
