Michael Roy Whitler, age 63, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his home.
There will be no services per Michael’s request. Cremation will be observed. Burial will take place at a later date in Mayfield Memorial Park in Carlinville, Illinois. Memorials may go to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here.
Michael was born on November 17, 1958 in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Eugene Webster and Mary Louise (Stora) Whitler. He loved all things history and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Whitler (wife Reita) of Alaska and sister, Peggy Whitler of Virden, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Eugene and Mary Whitler; and two brothers, Eugene Louis Whitler and Thomas Ralph Whitler.
