Norma Jo Weber (95) of Teutopolis

Norma Jo Weber, 95 of Teutopolis, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to the time of mass, Friday morning in St. Clare Hall, within St. Francis Church. Memorial donations may be given to St. Francis Church. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Teutopolis.

Norma was born July 7, 1927, the daughter of Bernard “Ben” and Cecilia (Schwerdt) Lueken. She married Henry L. “Pelee” Weber on April 9, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Norma was a member of St. Francis Church, St. Francis Council and Catholic Women, and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Norma served as the secretary for Green Creek School for many years. She enjoyed baking pies and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed. 

Norma is survived by her sons, Tony (Carlene) of Effingham and Pat (Terri) of Punta Gorda, FL; daughters, Leeanne (Bill) Bolton of LaPorte, IN and Vickie (Jeff) Wendling of Teutopolis; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Helen Groeper, Mary Uptmor, and Madonna Vasquez; brothers, Jim, Art, Harold, Maurice, and George Lueken; great-grandson, Leo Cain Miltenberger.
