Kathleen M. "Kathy" Wolf (71) of Effingham, formerly of Altamont

Kathleen M. (Kathy) Wolf 71 years old of Effingham, formerly of Altamont, Illinois passed away peacefully early on Monday morning June 20, 2022 at 5:00 AM at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham after being a patient for a short time.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday Morning June 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, rural Altamont with the Rev. Jerry Bagwell officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday morning June 24, 2022 at the church. Christian Burial Rites will be conducted by the family at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Altamont at a later date.
Kathy was born into the Christian family one of three children of George and Wilma-Muchow-Wolf. She was born on November 16, 1950 at home in Mound Township or the Bethlehem Community near Altamont, Illinois. She was baptized and confirmed her faith in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Kathy graduated from the Altamont High School with the class of 1969. She went on and furthered her education to receive her nursing degree from the Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri. Kathy was employed as a Registered Nurse at the Lutheran Care Center in Altamont and lastly at the Eden Village Nursing Home while living in Edwardsville, Illinois until her health failed. Kathy dedicated her life to the health and care of her patients and her nursing career. Kathy enjoyed reading, cooking, and singing with the choir at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville and especially loved to keep up with her nieces and nephews. She was presently a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, Shumway, Illinois.
Memorials may be directed to the Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.
Kathy is survived by her: Brother: Mark (wife Nancy) Wolf of Beecher City, Illinois and their 2- daughters: Arielle (husband Zac) Roberts of Charleston, Illinois and their son Asher Roberts; Janae (husband, Jonathan) Holtz of Terre Haute, Indiana and their sons Isaiah and Noah Holtz; Sister: Susan (husband, Mark) Lawson of Shadyside, Ohio, and their two daughters: Leah Lawson of Amarillo, Texas and Anna Lawson of Marietta, Georgia and son: Eric Lawson of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: Father: George John Herman Wolf; Mother: Wilma Lydia Anna (Muchow) Wolf.
