Rebecca Sue "Becky" Banning 70, of Mattoon, Illinois formerly of Neoga, Illinois passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born June 19, 1951 in Shelby County, Illinois daughter of Roy and Deloris (Nippe) Navis. Becky married Robert "Wayne" Price and later married Gary Ballinger who passed away January 13, 1996. She then married James "Jim" Banning September 24, 2011 in Mattoon, Illinois. Mrs. Banning was a retired Assistant Manager at the Mattoon Walmart after 20 years and also was a hairdresser. Becky loved watching the grandkids play sports, camping with her dogs, rummages and antiques (especially angels), cookouts with the family, playing with her great grand babies, dancing with great 80s music, doing puzzles and crossword puzzles, morning coffee watching the birds and having her spiritual time, traveling in the R.V. going to St. Johns Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband Jim Banning of Mattoon, Illinois; children, Angie (Cory) Hoedebecke, Wendy (Cory) Patterson, Gary Ballinger, Shane (Marsha) Banning, Shawn (April) Banning, Shannon (Brandi) Banning and Shea (Vanessa) Banning; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Deanna (Gary) Durbin, Donald Navis, Linda (Mike) Sparling, Rita Ballinger, Marla (Bill) Myers, Kimberly (Butch) Lynch and Tammy Mette; special friends, Jeff and Jill Ferrall, Mike and Kathy Heath and Gary and Barb Wright.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents husbands, Wayne Price and Gary Ballinger (who both were Vietnam Veterans). Memorials are suggested to the Lincolnland Hospice of Sarah Bush Lincoln Mattoon, Illinois.

As per Becky's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday April 30, 2022 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois.
