Lorraine Elizabeth Zerrusen, 89, of Teutopolis, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, April 19, at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham. The funeral will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 20, at St Francis Catholic Church, Teutopolis. Burial will be in St Francis Catholic Cemetery, Teutopolis. Memorials may be made to Secular Franciscans or donor’s choice.

Lorraine was born March 25, 1933, in Effingham County, the daughter of Allie and Josephine (Dust) Repking. She married James M Zerrusen on June 14, 1952. Lorraine graduated from Teutopolis High School in 1951, valedictorian of her class. She worked at Teutopolis Press and Petty Printing before starting Three Z Printing in 1978. While at Three Z, she wore many hats: CFO, HR Director, etc. All five of her children worked at Three Z and the business became highly successful. Lorraine was the matriarch of Three Z. Lorraine was always a very religious person. She was involved in many church organizations, active in Perpetual Adoration and watched EWTN daily. Over the years she gained many friends thru her rosary groups. Also, she greatly enjoyed her time with her kids and grandkids.

Lorraine is survived by sons, Daniel (Diane), Bill (JoEllen) and Kurt (Janet) all of Teutopolis; daughters, Jane (Mike) Ziegler and Judy (Steve) Westjohn, both of Teutopolis; sisters, Luella Buscher of Teutopolis, Bernice (Norbert) Lohman of Teutopolis, Evelyn (Ron) Probst of Effingham, Marge (John) Asbury of St Louis, Wilma (Joe) Beckman of Teutopolis, Mary Jane (Joe) Bierman of Newton and Betty (Tom) Pals of Effingham; sister-in-law Pauline Repking of Bishop; 20 grandchildren and 38 grandchildren.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; infant son, James Aloysius, Louis Buscher, Vernon Repking, James & Louise Deters, Louis & Doris Repking, Sister Ruth Ann Repking, Sylvester & Laura Zerrusen, Edwin & Marie Zerrusen, Clarence & Millie Zerrusen, Norbert & Mary Ann Schumacher, Albert & Marguerite Schumacher and Louis & Barbara Donsbach; and great grandson, Dane Brian.
