Craig Todd Pritchard (59) of Willow Hill

Craig Todd Pritchard, age 59, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away at 9:33 PM Monday, April 11, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Dyer, Indiana.

Visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. In loving memory of Craig, memorials may be made to family. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left by clicking here.

Craig was born on August 26, 1962, in Harvey, Illinois, the son of Howard and Genevie (Olsen) Pritchard. He married Margaret Watkins on November 14, 1981, in Frederick, Maryland. Craig served his country in the United States Army for 14 years serving during the Gulf War Desert Storm. After his time in the service, Craig worked as tree trimmer. He was retired as a Disabled American Veteran. Craig was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Willow Hill United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Jasper Post #20 American Legion and the VFW Post #7537 both in Newton. Craig was past Commander of the 23rd district American Legion.

Craig is survived by: Wife of 40 years – Margaret Pritchard of Willow Hill, Illinois; Children – Chris Pritchard of Willow Hill, Illinois and Jessica Jean (Jerwyn) Madron of Roll, Arizona; Siblings – Janice Pritchard, Patty Borner, Laurie Holmquiest and Ross Pritchard; Special Nephew – Johnny (Jenny) Pritchard; and 6 Grandchildren.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sheryl Larkin and father and mother-in-law Jessie and Josephine Watkins.
