Barbara J. “Barb” Sechrest, 68 of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Sara Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Memorial services to be announced at a later date. Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting.
Barb was born March 8, 1954 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the daughter of Walter Sr. and Teresa (Carrier) Urch. She married Jesse R. Sechrest on December 10, 1977.
Barb is survived by his husband, Jesse of Effingham; daughter, Autumn (Gabriel) Cavazos of Coppell, TX; two grandsons, Lucas and Jacob Cavazos; sisters, Christine (Ed) Hicks of Coloma, MI, and Joyce Blake of Holland, MI; brothers, Water Urch, Jr. of Watervliet, MI and Mark (Karen) Urch of Bullhead City, AZ.
