Bradley was born November 1, 1985, the son of Randy and Lorri (Walk) Kastl. He married Aundrea C. “Andi” Schuette of Effingham December 29, 2012. Brad was a bourbon connoisseur and cigar aficionado, enjoying both while watching his Chicago Cubbies and L.A. Rams on his porch deck. He was also an exceptional mechanic, being certified as a Ford Master Technician; a testament to his eagerness to always strive to provide the best service in all his doings, whether that be in the auto-shop or his personal life, such as acting as his son’s assistant T-ball coach or previously serving as an Eagle Scout.

Brad had a unique ability to connect with anyone around him, having never met a stranger in his life. This is something he passed down to his young son, Bentley James. Bentley, 3, is the spitting image of his father and was considered his greatest accomplishment. Yet, the true light of his life, was his wife. Having met while in high school, their love only continued to grow over the years, with them having just celebrated their nine-year wedding anniversary. He will always be remembered as an exceptional and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Brad is survived by his wife, Andi Kastl of Smiths Station, AL; son, Bentley; parents, Randy and Lorri Kastl of Teutopolis; siblings, Scott (Adara) Kastl and Matthew (Carolyn) Kastl; parents-in-law, David and Jamie Schuette of Effingham; sister-in-law, Alexandra (Nathan) Homann; brother-in-law, Johnathon (Brianna) Schuette; grandfather-in-law, Jim (Carol) Boos; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carroll and Nadine Kastl and Virgil and Theresa Walk; and grandmother-in-law, Ruth Boos.
