Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. A committal service will immediately follow at Union Cemetery, Altamont with Rev. Louise M. Roedl was born Wednesday, October 13, 1926 in rural Mason to Christopher and Myrtle Spragg Heth. She married S.W. ‘Bud’ Roedl July 21, 1945 and he preceded her in death March 30, 2006. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Altamont and a past member of the VFW Post 7676 Auxillary. Louise was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm. She and Bud enjoyed bowling in their earlier years.
Louise is survived by her son Carroll (special friend Linda) Roedl of Mason; her daughters, Sharon Frerichs of Springfield and Rita (Marlin) Guse, Altamont; grandchildren, Crystal Titsworth, Springfield, Todd (Shani) Dragoo, Litchfield, Candy (Kurt) Wolff, Altamont and Chris (Joyce) Guse, Mason; great grandchildren; Klaiton, Karsyn and Kaiden Wolff; Mary and Reese Guse; Trisha Vanpelt, Joshua Titsworth, Tony (Kari) Dragoo and Erin (Ryan) Niehaus; great-great-grandchildren; Nova Crawford, Cora and Autumn Niehaus.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Merle Heth and sister Mildred Huelsbusch.
