Ollie Alice Schwenke 87, of Charleston, Illinois formerly of Neoga, Illinois, passed away at 7:46 PM Thursday March 17, 2022, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.
She was born August 6, 1934 in rural Cumberland County, Illinois the daughter of Louis and May (McPherson) Cordes. She married Charles F. Schwenke Sr. July 22, 1951, in Coles County, Illinois, Mr. Schwenke passed away August 29, 1999. Ollie was a Mother, Housewife and Homemaker.
Mrs. Schwenke leaves her children, Charles Jr Schwenke. Of Charleston, Illinois, Tina Sparks (Phil) of Arthur, Illinois and Melvin Schwenke (Susan) of Charleston, Illinois; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Schwenke Sr, grandson, Stephen Stone; great grandson, Jeremiah; brothers, Leonard Cordes, Donald Cordes and Howard Cordes.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday March 25, 2022 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday March 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Beals Cemetery near Trilla, Illinois.
