Dana L. Jones, 76, of Salem, was called home to her Lord and Savior at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday, March, 8, 2022 at the Salem Township Hospital in Salem.

Dana was born on December 3, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Thurmond “Jack” and Lois (Six) Greene. On December 19, 1972 she married Frank W. Jones, Sr. Dana was a homemaker for many years before being employed at Walmart where she worked for over 20 years. After a brief retirement she worked for Priceless IGA until retiring in 2017. Dana was a woman of faith, which she demonstrated by her selfless love toward others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had the kindest of hearts, always a smile on her face, and an infectious laugh. She had a kind soul, and a love for animals. She always offered encouragement, a listening ear, and the best of hugs for all who were blessed to know her. She will be greatly missed by many.

Dana is survived by her two sons; Jeff (Beth) Jones, Chad (Tamara) Jones, daughter; Tammy (Mike) Ford, a stepson; Frank (Mindy) Jones, Jr., step daughter; Cristal Buehnerkemper, grandsons; Dylan (Brittani) Logan, Easton (Brooke) Jones, Brent Jones, Nick Buehnerkemper, Cody Jones, granddaughters; Felicia Jones, Ashley Jones, great grandchildren; Mya, Kaden, Declan, and Truett.

Dana was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters; Marilyn Stasiowski, Sue Greene, Shirley Martin, Patricia Sutton, son; Rick L. Jones.

It was Dana’s wishes for cremation and there will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dana’s memory to Fur A Good Paws, in Flora and will be accepted through the funeral home.
