Lonnie Dean Tull, Sr., 55, of Gulfport, MS, formerly of Beecher City, IL, passed away at 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Lonnie was born on February 26, 1966, in Shelbyville, the son of Tommy and Linda (Robertson) Tull. He was a 1984 graduate of Gulfport, MS High School. Lonnie and Robin Craig were married on June 15, 1985, in Gulfport, MS, and were blessed with 36 years of marriage. Lonnie worked as a custodian at the Beecher City High School for many years before returning to Gulfport, MS. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, attending car shows, playing horseshoes, fishing, celebrating Mardi Gras and loved his time with family, especially his children, grandchildren and his four-legged friend, Dixie.

Surviving are his loving wife, Robin Tull of Gulfport, MS; three children: Lauren (Ben) Worman of Ringgold, GA, Lonnie “Deano” (Kacie) Tull of Effingham and Elizabeth (Stephan) Graves of Summit, MS; seven grandchildren: Laine Fancher (girlfriend, Hayven Carroll), Jasmyn Fancher, Carley Tull, Waylynn Tull, Easton Tull, Lavin Tull and Maizee Tull; uncle and aunt, Jim (Barb) Tull of Effingham.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Imelda Robertson and his father.
