Earl Dean Sapp, age 83, of Iola, Illinois passed away at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Effingham Health Care Center.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Browns Cemetery in rural Edgewood, Illinois. Kent Robinson will be officiating. Memorials may go to Brown’s Cemetery or the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here.
Earl was born on June 27, 1938 in Clay County, Illinois, the son of Lewis and Luella (Ramsey) Sapp. He attended church at Iola Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his bike, watching TV Land and Me TV, going to church, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Loy (husband Floyd) of LaClede; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Luella Sapp; brothers, Carroll Sapp, Ralph Sapp, Leroy Sapp, Vernon Sapp, Charles Sapp, and Ira Sapp; sisters, Ethel Sapp and Mary Cruse.
