Thomas C. "Tom" McClellan (74) of rural Toledo

Thomas C. "Tom" McClellan 74, of rural Toledo, Illinois passed away Wednesday December 29, 2021 in his residence.

He was born March 24, 1947 in rural Neoga, Illinois, the Son of Delman and Eleanor M. (Wolke) McClellan. Mr. McClellan proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam. Tom married Shirley Ann Rickelman May 18, 1974 in Mattoon, Illinois. She passed away August 7, 2021. Mr. McClellan was a Assembly Line worker at Blaw-Knox in Mattoon, Illinois and a member of St. Michael, The Archangel Church in Sigel, Illinois and a Life Member of the Mattoon V.F.W. Post 4325 in Mattoon, Illinois.

Tom leaves his daughter, Rebecca "Becky" (Jim) Stilabower of Neoga, Illinois; grandson, Heath Stilabower of Mattoon, Illinois; granddaughter, Moriah Stilabower (fiancé Larry) of Charleston, Illinois; and great-grandson, Dominic Johnson of Dupo, Illinois; brothers, Gary McClellan (Maria) of Neoga, Illinois and Steve McClellan (Judy) of Sigel, Illinois; sister, Kathleen Worman (Kenneth) of Trowbridge, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and brother in law, Gerard Kinnaman.

He was preceded by his parents; wife Shirley McClellan; son, James “Jim” McClellan; brother, Michael McClellan; sister, Patricia Kinnaman.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Michael School in Sigel, Illinois. Funeral Services are pending at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Brush Creek Cemetery in Spring Point Township, Illinois. Send online condolences by clicking here.
