Barbara Diane (Lovett) Conatser (68) of Plainfield, IN, formerly of St. Elmo

Barbara Diane (Lovett) Conatser, 68 years old, of Plainfield, Indiana, formerly of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away peacefully Sunday December 19, 2021 at 1:05 AM at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital in Danville, Indiana with her children by her side.

Visitation for family and friends honoring her life will be held on Monday December 27, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM until Noon at the Kull Funeral Chapel, Altamont, Illinois. Burial Rites will be held at the Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo, Illinois following the visitation services.

Barbara was born September 20, 1953, at the Dr. Lewis Hospital, St. Elmo the daughter of Ivan L. Lovett and Virginia (Mahon) Lovett. Barbara worked many years in security management at the Indianapolis Indiana Airport and after retirement, she continued to work as a school bus aid in Plainfield, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. Barbara married Kenneth Conatser and he preceded her in death.

Barbara is survived by her: Mother: Virginia Louise (Mahon) Lovett of St. Elmo, Illinois; Son: Neil Eugene Alwardt of Indianapolis, Indiana; Daughter: Melanie Jo (husband, John) Smitley of Charleston, Illinois and their children Kelsey Jo and Grady Michael Smitley; 4- Brothers: Dennis Keith (wife, Kathleen) Lovett of St. John, Indiana, Randall Larue (wife, Jean) Lovett of Temecula, California, Lee Lyndon (wife, Sandra) Lovett of Carterville, Illinois, and Mark Edward (wife, Michele) Lovett of Louisville, Illinois; Sister:    Lori Louise (husband, Larry) Davitz of Alton, Illinois; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her: Father: Ivan Larue Lovett in 1968; and Husband: Kenneth Eugene Conatser in 2016.
