Jaunita V. Tomlinson, 87, of rural Beecher City, IL died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home.
As per her wishes her body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jaunita was born on July 5, 1934 in rural St. Elmo, IL to Samuel and Ethel (Luckett) Myers. She married Ernest Tomlinson. During her working career she had been employed at the Altamont Garment Factory and had been a home health care worker.
She is survived by: her husband; her son, Randy Tomlinson of Beecher City; daughters, Penny Rector of Florida and Linda Hubbartt of Windsor; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Jaunita was preceded in death by: her son, Myron Dial; daughter, Karen Meyer; 3 brothers; 4 sisters, Erma Fair, Vaudith Logue, Leora Newburn and Marjorie Blurton; and one grandchild.
