Roy L. Plummer (93) of rural Montrose

Roy L. Plummer, 93, of rural Montrose, IL passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Lakeland Rehabilitation Center, Effingham, IL.
Roy is survived by sons Danny (Jane) Plummer of Montrose and John Plummer of Sullivan. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His wife Ina Plummer passed away in 2018.
Roy was a lifelong farmer in Woodbury, IL. He enjoyed spending time with family, attending church, listening to gospel music and eating out. Roy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Mullen Cemetery, rural Montrose. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.
