Chester H. Parrott, 77, of Windsor, IL, passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at home surrounded by loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, with Masonic rites at 1:00 p.m. followed by the memorial service in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Chester was born on November 8, 1943, in Decatur, the son of Charles and Lucille (Jones) Parrott. He was a graduate of Mt. Zion High School. Chester and Pamela McCullough were married in Dalton City in 1977 and were blessed with 44 years of marriage. Chester worked for and retired from Caterpillar, Incorporated in Decatur after 30 years of service. He was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association and Masonic Lodge #831 of Findlay and Jackson Masonic Lodge #53 of Shelbyville. He was a NASCAR and Chicago Cubs fan, he enjoyed traveling to Florida and Texas in the winter months and spending time with his four-legged companions Buddy, Sissy and Kashi.

Surviving are his wife, Pamela Parrott of Windsor; two sons: Richard Parrott, Sr. of Windsor and Tracy (Janet) Parrott of Toledo; three grandchildren: Richard Parrott, Jr. of Dixon, Jordan Parrott of Utah and Jenna Parrott of Toledo; two great-grandchildren; brother, William (Janice) Parrott of Weslaco, TX; sister-in-law, Sharon Parrott of Maroa and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Parrott.
