Linda Heiden, 72, of Louisville passed away at 4:55 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Linda was born on December 23, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Christopher and Martha (Coleman) Johnson. She married Ray Dean Heiden on November 12, 1966, in Louisville and they shared 54 years of marriage. Linda was a care taker of whoever was in need. She loved taking pictures of her grandchildren and she was a member of the Bible Grove Christian Church.

Linda is survived by her husband; Ray Dean Heiden, of Louisville, 2 sons; Ed (Jackie) Heiden, of Louisville, Jeff (Lora) Heiden, of Charleston, Illinois, 6 grandchildren; Charlee (Jared) Eveland, of Altamont, Michael Heiden, of Louisville, Johnathan (Keri) Heiden, of Effingham, Colton Heiden, of Louisville, Moira Barber, of Louisville, Alissa Morris, of Louisville, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by a brother; Christopher (Roberta) Johnson, of Hord.

Mrs. Heiden was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Johnny Johnson, Charlie Johnson, 6 sisters; Christine Junkerman, Anna Westerdorf, Thelma Reed, Mary Lou VanPelt, Margaret Parks, and Nevada “Peggy’ Fender.

Funeral services honoring the life of Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the McGriff & Triplett Funeral Home in Louisville with Mike Elliott officiating, and burial will follow at the Old Union Cemetery, Bible Grove. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home where friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
