Mabel F. "Mae" Pearcy (79) of Windsor

Mabel “Mae” F. Pearcy, 79, of Windsor, IL passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 12:26 p.m. in HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL, with loved ones by her side.

Mae was born on September 29, 1941, in Madisonville, KY, the daughter of Richard and Pearl (Bowels) Flynn. Mae and Dean J. “Carl” Pearcy were united in holy matrimony on June 4, 1960 and together shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Mae devoted her life to being a homemaker, lovingly tending to the daily needs of her husband, son and daughters. She enjoyed shopping, coloring and spending time with all of her loved ones. Mae was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Pearcy of Windsor; son, Rick (Darlene) Pearcy of Joelton, TN; daughters: Vickey (George) Hostetter of Gays, Kim (Brad) Stremming of Strasburg and Michele (Scott) VanHyfte of Gays; nine grandchildren: Derek (Marsia), Angela (Logan), Travis (Ashley), Brent (Louisa), Korey (Russ), Nathan (Paige), Brayden, Kierstin (Joshua) and Zackary and 11 great-grandchildren. She loved being GiGi to her 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Earl and James Flynn.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor with Pastor Jason Kinder officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made in Mae’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor is assisting the family.
