Lois Elaine Propeck (73) of Loogootee

Lois Elaine Propeck, age 73, of Loogootee, Illinois passed away at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Elmo, Illinois. Cory Hartz will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Old Loogootee Cemetery at a later date. Memorials will go to Zion Lutheran Church or donor’s choice. Lois was born on January 5, 1948 in Loogootee, Illinois, the daughter of Irvin W. and Glenna M. (Harpster) Case. She married Donald William Propeck on October 27, 1968 at Zion Lutheran Church in Loogootee, Illinois. Lois graduated from Deaconess in St. Louis, Missouri where she met her husband. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lois’ family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone that has helped out in the recent months.

She is survived by her son, Gregory William Propeck (wife Miranda) of Vandalia; daughters, Valerie Propeck McClimon (husband Patrick) of Loogootee and Suzanne Propeck-Gray (husband Anthony) of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Nathan Gray, Rhiannon Gray, Gabriel Propeck, and Harrison Propeck; step-grandchildren, Rylee and Trinity Velazquez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Glenna Case; husband, Don Propeck; sister, Linda Faulkner.
