Jim Tull, 84, of Shelbyville, Illinois passed away at 10:42 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at home, with his loved ones by his side.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Yankee officiating. Burial will take place in Sand Creek Cemetery in rural Windsor. Jim was born February 6, 1937, in Shelbyville, the son of Lloyd and Emma (Sanborn) Tull. He was a 1955 graduate of Shelbyville High School.  Jim and Faye Smith were united in holy matrimony on November 14, 1956, in Shelbyville, and were blessed with 64 years of marriage. Jim worked for the Shelbyville Community Unit School District #4 for over 30 years as a bus mechanic. He also farmed in the Shelbyville area for many years. Jim had three passions:  his family, working as a mechanic and farming.

Surviving are his loving wife, Faye Tull of Shelbyville; son, Dale Tull of Shelbyville; daughter, Connie Rader of Salem, MO; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brother, Clifford (Bert) Tull of Surprise, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.B. Tull and sisters:  Katherine, Frances and Margaret.
