Nancy Jo Stortzum, 74, of Effingham, formerly of Dieterich, IL passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at her home in Effingham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in rural Louisville, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Nancy Jo was born on September 5, 1946, to Erwin and Corene (Cameron) Stortzum of Dieterich. She attended Eberle and Dieterich schools. She had been involved with Community Support Systems since 1997 working and participating at the Developmental Center and CSS Art Program.
She is survived by her brother, Dee (Pat) Stortzum of Dieterich, her sister, Pam (Kris) Jennings of Hilliard, Ohio; her sister-in-law, Marcella Stortzum of Spring Hill, FL; five nieces and one nephew; many great nieces and nephews; and many employees and patrons of CSS.
Nancy Jo was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dwight Stortzum.
Nancy‘s family would like to thank the Hospice staff and all the dedicated staff at CSS whose comfort and care for Nancy Jo is deeply appreciated.
