Glenna Amy Pruett, 66, of Vandalia, IL passed away at 12:15 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at SBL Fayette County Hospital ER.
Per Glenna’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choosing. Online condolences can be expressed by clicking here.
Mrs. Pruett was born on May 23, 1955 in Vandalia, IL, the daughter of Eugene Marshall Sr. and Mary (Kilby) Marshall. She married Galen Lee Pruett on November 02, 1973; together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Glenna was a homemaker and most recently a cashier at Jack Flash, Vandalia. She had an avid love for art; especially drawing. However, there was nothing that she enjoyed more than spending her free time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Galen Pruett of Vandalia; daughter, Carla and husband Michael Hassebrock of Vandalia; brother, Eugene Marshall Jr. of Vandalia; sisters, Cheryl and husband Dennis Hebenstreit of St. Elmo and Karen and husband Richard Milhoan of Mulberry Grove; brother-in-law, Danny Cook of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Ashlynn Barnick, Amberly Wells, Dalton Barnick; step-grandchildren, Jessica Hassebrock and Hayley Hassebrock; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Wyatt, Caedyn, Gracelynn, and one on the way; and step-great-grandchildren, Aria and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chaney Pruett; and sister, Corliss Cook.
