Barry James "Jamie" Coy, 59, of rural Toledo, Illinois, passed away at 9:01 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in his residence.
He was born June 29, 1962 in Mattoon, Illinois the son of Gerald and Sharon (Greeson) Coy.
Jamie leaves his brothers, Robert (Teresa) Coy of Maryville, Tennessee, Bradley Coy of Neoga, Illinois and Brian (Megan) Coy of Neoga, Illinois; sister, Brenda (Tim) Nees of rural Toledo, Illinois; several neices, nephews, cousins and special cousin, Rita Stewart of Neoga, Illinois; aunt, Charlotte Russell of Plano, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Miranda Riley and Harlie Lawrence, Jamie’s caregivers. Memorials are suggested to be made to Lincolnland Hospice or Special Olympics.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday July 18, 2021 at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Illinois with Pastor Steve Massengill officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time Sunday July 18, 2021 at the funeral home. Express online condolences by clicking here.
