James Outhouse, 71, of rural Beecher City, died at 11:41 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his home.

James was born on Saturday, April 29, 1950 in Vandalia to Lee and Catherine (Payne) Outhouse. He had been an over-the-road truck driver and had been employed with the Patoka Pipeline. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #533, Altamont and a past member of the NRA.

He is survived by 2 nieces and his adopted grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, special friend, Erma Fair and 2 sisters.

As per his wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Moccasin at a later date. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed by clicking here
