Wesley D. Anderson, 63, of Naperville, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Northwestern Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Memorials may be made to NF Midwest or NAMI DuPage. Wesley was born on February 10, 1958 in Effingham, IL, the son of Allen and Roxy (Forthman) Anderson. He married Lisa Polarek on August 5, 1978 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham, IL. Wes graduated from Effingham High School in 1976. He married his high school sweetheart Lisa M. Polarek in 1978. Together they had two sons, Ryan and Nicholas, and daughter Jaclynn. He worked in the Printing and Paper Industry for 30+ years. Wes was a proud father to his Marine sons, loving dad to his daughter, and "Pop Pop" who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed antiquing with his wife, woodworking and gardening in the family home. His love of music and seeing live concerts, a special favorite song was “Wonderful Tonight” and dancing to it with his babe.

Wes is survived by his wife, Lisa Anderson of Naperville, IL; his three children, Ryan (Emily) of Manhattan, IL, Nicholas (Amy) of Richland, TX and Jaclynn of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Sydney, Scout, Lily, Natalie, and Chloe; and his faithful companion, sweet westie girl, Isabella; sister, Virginia of Effingham, IL; niece, Ashley of Top Sail, NC; In-laws Ken and Catherine Polarek of Effingham, IL; sistersin-law, Laura Didier, MaryBeth (Brad) McDonald and Michelle (Bryan) Hieserman; brother-in-law, Ken (Theresa) Polarek; nieces and nephews, Justin, Megan, Abigail (Jesse), Victoria, Tara Rose, Alexis, Elm (Chris), Meghan, Kenny, and Colin; and greats, Jayden, Marley, and Aaro.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Cory Anderson and Silas Jaxon Burdette.
