Robert L. Cox, Sr., 68, of St. Elmo, died at 9:17 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home with his family by his side.
As per his wishes there will be no services. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Robert Lee Cox, Sr. was born on Saturday, January 3, 1953 in Blythe, CA to Leo Cox and Wanda Bogenpohl. He married Barbara Evans on June 7, 1980. He was a veteran of the US Army and had been employed with MBS Communications, Altamont.
He is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Barbara of St. Elmo; sons, Robert Lee Cox, Jr and his fiancé Abby of St. Elmo and Brian Cox of St. Elmo; six grandchildren, Dakota, Brooke, Lane, and Brody Cox, Braxton and Brystol Yokley.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
