Zola J. Schnarre, age 88 of Farina passed away at 7:57 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her home in Farina, Illinois.

A private ceremony in memory of Zola and her husband, Carroll Schnarre, will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy, Illinois. Pastor Mike Feldmann will be officiating. Pagel Funeral Home is assisting.

Zola was born on June 22, 1932 in Fayette County, Illinois, the daughter of John and Blanche (Neeper) See. She married Carroll E. Schnarre on June 4, 1950 in St. Peter, Illinois. She was a member of Frieden’s U.C.C. She had a passion for flower gardening, crafts, and being with family.

She is survived by her sons, John (wife Judy) Schnarre of St. Peter, James David (wife Dee) Schnarre of Farina; daughters, Janine Lotz of Vandalia, Janet Metzger of Shobonier, Joyce (husband Kevin) Storck of Farina, and Julie (husband Greg) Hoover of St. Peter; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Blanche See; husband, Carroll Schnarre; and sister, Eva “Bubbles” Denny.
