James W. Bowlin Jr., 43, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, as a result from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

James was born on June 20, 1977, in Effingham, IL, the son of James W. and Marcia (Henkelman) Bowlin Sr.
Jim had a great sense of humor. He was a very energetic person. He would help anyone that he could and had a huge heart. Jim loved fishing and being outdoors. You will be missed by so many “Crumb,” we love you, “Baby Jim!”
Jim is survived by his children, Dariane (Jonathan) Weis, Raegan Miller, Nick Bowlin, and Lucas Bowlin; granddaughter, Kiaya Hensley; parents, James Sr. and Marcia Bowlin; and siblings, Rhonda Bowlin (Karla Nagel), Jamie (Stacey) Bowlin, Tracy Bowlin, and Brian Bowlin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Taylor Charles; grandparents, James and Lucille Bowlin and Paul and Jeannene Henkelman; and several aunts and uncles.
